Sintered stone – harder than stainless steel
The stone tops in the range are manufactured from natural kaolin clay sintered under extremely high temperature (1200°C). Sintered stone is a class-leading material when it comes to durability for outdoor use. It is incredibly resistant to abrasion, stains, and high temperatures. With a grade of 7 out of 10 on the Mohs scale of mineral hardness, the material is harder than stainless steel.
